The sunniest island in the Mediterranean, Cyprus enjoys an almost constant climate with year round sun, with almost everyday being fine and dry. Extremes of temperature are rare in Cyprus and even in the height of summer when temperatures reach over 90 degrees F. You will find cooler, soothing weather inland toward the Mountainous Troodos.
Summer begins in early May and extends right the way through into October, meaning it is warm enough almost every day of the year to enjoy a dip in the sea and by the pool.
Even in Winter your find an average of six hours a day of sunshine. Once Spring begins in March with temperatures quickly reaching 70 degrees F during the daytime the cooler months of January & February bring with them the most chance of rain, although it is unlikely that any stay in Cyprus will be without its fair share of sunshine
The popular resort of Coral Bay provides all the facilities for a perfect holiday in the sun. It's centre is lined with shops, bars and restaurants offering a choice of both Cypriot and international cuisines. Down on the beach the shallow waters are wonderful for water sports and bathing alike – from parasailing and jet skis to banana boats rides. The ancient capital of Paphos is a short drive or bus ride away for wall-to wall historical sites and a livelier nightlife. Close by the charming village of Peyia offers the perfect place to sample Greek Cypriot Meze in a traditional taverna.
